PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF

CANDIDA INFECTIONS

INDICATIONS:

Nystatin is a potent antifungal drug has both fungistatic and fungicidal action and used agianst fungi and yeasts at all stages of their growth. It is also used:

– For the treatmnet and prevention of mycotic diarrea, mouth and gastrointestinal tract candida infections in livestock, duck, broilers, layers, turkeys and replacement pullets.

– For the control of aspergillosis (brooder pneumonia).

– Abest antidote against all kinds of toxines.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

For oral administration:

– Treatment:

+  Poultry: 1 g/ 3 – 4 kg body weight; 2 – 3 g/ 1 kg of feed or 2 – 3 g/ 1 liter of drinking water.

+  Calves, sheep, goat: 1 g/ 8 – 10 kg body weight; 2 – 2.5 g/ 1 kg of feed or 1 – 2 g/ 1 liter of drinking water.

+  Cattle: 100 g/ 1,000 kg body weight.

– Prevention of mycotic infection in feed: 1.5 g/ 2 kg of feed or 1 g/ 3 – 3.5 liter of drinking water.

Prevention of candida infections: 1.5 g/ 1 kg of feed or 1 g/ 1.5 – 2 liters of drinking water.
