TREATMENT OF  VITAMIN B1 DEFICIENCIES

 INGREDIENTS:

Thiamine hydrochloride (Vitamin B1)………500 mg

Excipient qs…………………………………..1.7 ml

INDICATION:

ACE-B1 500 lays an important role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, and energy production for all cells. Thiamine is most important in the breakdown of pyruvic acid, a waste product in hard working muscles, along with lactic acid. Thiamine is essential as part of the coenzyme which is involved in the breakdown of glucose for energy.

Thiamine, in conjunction with Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is essential in the metabolism of proteins and amino acids, Thiamine has effects on all tissues. The most sensitive are nerves, stomach and heart.

CONTRAINDICATION: not applicable.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Administer 2 – 4 ml (cattle and camel), 1-2 ml (horses) by intramuscular (I.M) injection twice weekly or as advised by a veterinary surgeon.

 WARNING: Milk taken form treated animal within 24 hours after the latest treatment must not be used in food, treated animals must not slaughtered for use in food for least 3 days after latest treatment with this drug.
