Injectable Suspension – Long acting (LA)

TREATMENT OF PNEUMONIA, MASTITIS, EDEMA DISEASE

INGREDIENT:

Amoxycillin trihydrate……………………………………………….. 100 mg

Colistin sulfate……………………………………………………… 250,000 IU

Excipients qs…………………………………………………………………. 1 ml

 INDICATIONS:

• Diarrhea, enteritis due to E.coli and Salmonella in cattle, goat, sheep, poultry…
• Pneumonia, bronchitis, pasteurellosis, erysipelas.
• Nephritis, bladder, the secondary infection of surgery, wounds, abscesses, hoof-rot, arthritis, navel ill, edema disease, M.M.A.
• Metritis, mastitis in cows.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:

• Cattle, horse, sheep: 1 ml/ 10 kg body weight.
• Poultry: 1 ml/ 5 – 6 kg body weight.

By intramuscular (IM) injection, once dose only. The dose may be repeated after 48 hours.

 Withdrawal period:

• For meat: 21 days.
• For milk: 3 days.

 NOTE: shake well the suspension before use.

STORAGE: Store in shade and dry place, temperature below 30^oC
