ORAL SUSPENTION

SPECIAL TREATMENT OF COCCIDIOSIS

INGREDIENTS:

Diclazuril………………………….25 mg

Excipient qs………………………..1 ml

 INDICATIONS:

Treatment of coccidiosis in poultry caused by Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. mitis (mivati), and E. maxima. Diclazuril was shown in studies to reduce lesion scores and improve performance and health of birds challenged with E. maxima.

 DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

For oral administration via feed or drinking water. Can use one of the following 2 doses:

• Dosage 1: 1 ml / 25 kg body weight or 1 ml / 5 – 10 liters of drinking water for 48 hours. Repeat after 7 and 14 days.

Time to stop taking medicine for meat: 5 days.

• Dosage 2:
• Week 1: 30 ml/ 1,000 liters of drinking water.
• Week 2: 37 ml/ 1,000 liters of drinking water.
• Week 3: 44 ml/ 1,000 liters of drinking water.
• Week 4: 51 ml/ 1,000 liters of drinking water.
• Week 5: 58 ml/ 1,000 liters of drinking water.
• Week 6: 67 ml/ 1,000 liters of drinking water.

This is equivalent to 1 ml/ 80 kg body weight/ day. Use continuously for 3 days. Repeat after 7 and 14 days.

Time to stop taking medicine for meat: 0 days.

Note: Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.

CONTRA – INDICATIONS:

Do not use in layers producing eggs for human consumption.

STORAGE: Store in shade and dry place, temperature below 30^oC.
