TREATMENT OF TOPICAL INFECTIONS

 CUTANEOUS SPRAY SOLUTION

Oxytetracycline is an antibiotic that inhibits bacteria by suppressing protein synthesis and growth.

Oxytetracycline is effective against a wide range of bacteria as well as single-celled organisms (protozoa).

 INGREDIENTS:

Oxytetracycline hydrochloride………………..25 mg

Excipient qs……………………………………1 ml

INDICATIONS:

– External infections of the skin, teats, hooves and legs, caused by microorganisms sensitive to oxytetracycline, such as Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E.coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. for all types of animals.

– To prevent infection after surgical procedures, castration, docking, to prevent wound and suture infections.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

– For topical use only.

– Shake well before use.

– Remove any dead tissue, dried serum or secretions and debris from the site of infection. Clean the affected area, spray with a thin layer formed on the surface, 1 to ¬ 2 times daily, for 3 to 5 days.

STORAGE: Store in a shaded and dry place, temperature below 30oC
