INJECTABLE SUSPENSION – LONG ACTING (LA)

TREATMENT OF RESPIRATORY DISEASES

 INGREDIENTS:

Ceftiofur HCl……………………………………… 100 mg

Excipient qs …………………………………………… 1 ml

INDICATIONS:

• Treatment of the bacterial component of acute post-partum (puerperal) metritis within 10 days after calving associated with Escherichia coli, Arcanobacterium pyogenes and Fusobacterium necrophorum, sensitive to ceftiofur.
• Respiratory disease: pneumonia, sinusitis, influenza
• Mastitis, metritis, inflammatory hooves.
• Skin and soft tissue infections.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

• General dose: 1 ml/ 50 kg body weight/ day.
• Intramuscular (I.M) injection for 3 – 5 consecutive days.

Or can be used at doses as follows:

• General dose: 1 ml/ 20 – 30 kg body weight.
• Intramuscular (I.M) injection with a single dose, repeat after 72 hours (if needed).

Note: Shake well the suspension before use.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

– For meat: 05 days.

– For milk: 0 day.
