INJECTABLE SUSPENSION – LONG ACTING (L.A)

SPECIAL TREATMENT OF PNEUMONIA, METRITIS, MASTITIS

INGREDIENTS:

Amoxycillin trihydrate……………………. 150 mg

Gentamycin sulfate………………………….. 40 mg

Excipient qs……………………………………… 1 ml

INDICATIONS:

– Respiratory tract infections: bronchitis, pneumonia, pleuro-pneumonia, tonsillitis, sore throat.

– Gastrointestinal tract infections: enteritis, diarrhea caused by E.coli, swollen head syndrome in young cattle caused by E.Coli and Salmonella.

– Urogenit tract infection: cytitis, metritis, mastitis, neuphritis.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

• Concurrent administration of nephrotoxic substances.
• Hypersensitivity to drug.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION FOR USE:

• Cattle: 1 ml/ 15 – 18 kg body weight.
• Sheep, goat: 1 ml/ 10 – 12 kg body weight.
• Poultry: 1 ml/ 8 – 10 kg body weight.

Intramuscular injection. Once injection effect lasts 48 hours.

RECOMMENDATION:

– Shake well the suspension before use.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:

Concurrent administration of tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.

Do not use together with bacteriostatic antibiotics including ampicillin, tetracyclines, sulfonamides. Diuretics may decrease antibiotic concentration because they accelerate ampicycllin excretion. Allopurinal-like uric acid synthesis inhibitors increase skin reaction formation risk.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

• For meat: 25 days.
• For milk: 02 days.

STORAGE: Store in shade and dry place, temperature below 30^oC.
